Bond Star Custom is part of the Support Ukraine collection from Bond Guitars. Its design reflects the strength of spirit and the desire to develop Ukrainian products, which is embodied in meticulous attention to detail and creative solutions in its design. Starting with the choice of wood, and ending with the original and meaningful hard relic, this guitar tells its own story.
The neck and fretboard of the Bond Star Custom are made from Master Grade American roasted flame maple. Hipshot open gear locking tuners in gold with pearl buttons look simply amazing. The two-octave neck in Bond Star model holds 24 stainless steel frets by Jescar USA and GraphTech TUSQ XL nut. Signature fret markers are located simultaneously on the front and side surfaces of the guitar fretboard. The neck is attached to the body with four bolts with ferrules.
The body of the guitar has two original horns and is made of top grade one-piece Ukrainian alder. The wood is carefully selected by hand and dried according to classic guitar technology (air-dried tonewood). Unlike the classic strat, the Bond Star has a fixed bridge of increased mass, which adds sustain and tone. Hipshot bridge with steel saddles, a set of boutique Bare Knuckle Pickups with Alnico II magnets, CTS potentiometers with an Orange Drop capacitor and a Pure Tone output jack are responsible for the top-notch quality.
